1:01 Our goal for this year was to hit a million dollars in annual rents just from properties purchased. And with this latest property purchase, we have now exceeded the million-dollar mark in annual rents.

1:10 So obviously, for our agents, it’s a huge value for them to join the team and be able to participate in transactions right away and learn how to do real estate deals from experienced realtors.

1:18 This is actually the second property we’ve bought in the last 30 days with one of our realtors from our team.

1:26 But you also get to learn from the fact that we own one of the most significant residential and commercial real estate holdings in all of Nanaimo.

Volunteering with animals can be an incredibly rewarding experience. For safety reasons, volunteers working directly with animals must be at least 16 years old, as animals entering shelters come from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences.

The Nanaimo SPCA offers volunteer opportunities for those looking to support local animals.

Some smaller shelters also offer junior volunteer opportunities, typically requiring adult supervision.

Carly’s House Project Officially Breaks Ground

We are excited to share that the Carly’s House Project has officially broken ground, and demolition is now underway.

Carly’s House continues moving forward with demolition and early construction underway.

This marks an important milestone in creating a safe, welcoming home where families can remain together while their loved one battles cancer. During some of life’s most difficult moments, families deserve comfort, support, and a place that feels like home.

While progress has officially begun on-site, there is still a significant amount of work ahead. From construction and renovations to furnishing and final preparations, every step moves the project closer to opening its doors to families in need.

Community donations continue to play an essential role in helping move the project forward, and support from local businesses, vendors, and community partners is still being welcomed.
