Hello. This is Carly's house. I'm so excited.
Whose house is it?

It's Carly's house. So, where are we here? This is the great room.
What I love about this room, this beautiful bay window. I feel like it would be so cozy to read a book and drink a cup of tea here.
Yeah. Right. And this will be the family room. So, we have like a nice hide a bed couch here. This room's actually in pretty good shape, so we don't need to do too much to it. We've painted it.
Yeah, I love this.
And um
Yeah. Do you want to show us actually come back this way? Show us the main bedroom. So, this would be where our uh our cancer patient would stay. So, come down the hallway.

Come in. You can either go into the great room there
or you have this huge private cozy bedroom. And what I like about this is that there's some beautiful windows with the view of Mount Benson, but it's not too bright if you don't want light and you just need rest, which is my preference when I'm not feeling well.
So, this is one of the rooms we have to renovate. Of course, old lenolium, that kind of thing. We're hoping to blow out these closets and put a private bathroom in here because obviously when you're not feeling well, um you want to have a nice private space.
Yeah, it's nice and dignified, right? Okay. Need to do these floors.

I am obsessed with this kitchen. This just feels like home. It's so big. I love having a lot of natural light in the kitchen. There's a gorgeous skylight here, and you can just picture having an island here. and gathering and cooking home-cooked meals, which is so nice when you're not feeling well.
Yeah. And then we have to do the laundry room, obviously.
Yeah.
There's a but there's in in sweet laundry here. So,
yeah.
Tada.
Need to be able to have access to clean, cozy bedding and clothing. So, that's good.

So, let's look at this room here.
Yeah, this is a gorgeous room. I love these old floors in here, too.
Obviously, they have to do some refinishing, but they're really pretty. And this room is super cozy and gorgeous, too.
Yeah.
And I love it cuz it has lots of built-in closets. So,
Exactly. So, potentially might be doing another private bathroom here as well. That's the uh there's this closet here. This sort of has this weird thing. But again, if each of the rooms had its own little private, you know, toilet and sink.
Well, I think it's really nice to have that when you're not feeling well. But if you don't end up with doing a toilet in here, it is okay because the bathroom is literally right here.

Now, this bathroom, I don't know. We got to This is where we need the most help.
It's a little work, but you guys know what a bathroom looks like. It's okay, fine. Go for it.
Yeah, it's a little old school.
Definitely need to redo um mill work and stuff. But we actually have uh Susan from Iron Millwork who she said she would donate some some cabinets and whatnot. So, this one is a total gut job, but that's okay. It's just a bathroom, and we do bathrooms all the time. Some lights.

I have a question. Are we going to show them the deck?
Yeah. Okay. Sure.
Okay. So, this is an enclosed sun room right now kind of sketch, but when this becomes the deck, it's going to be so special because you actually can see some of the ocean and Gabriola there.
And I think if you just need a bit of fresh air when you're not feeling well, you could come and sit out here and it would be so so gorgeous. And it's actually really quiet back here. So it's a really quiet and there's so many literally.
But no, it's a very nice jack. And uh any like traffic noise like these are great quiet streets compared to big.
I know. It's just funny. Somebody's out there working.
You know what? I know that was bad.

Okay. So, this is the uh the deck and this is Carly's house. So, guys, we we do have a lot to do obviously um to make this thing beautiful. But, I mean, it is beautiful. What am I saying? It's a beautiful home.
Well, it has good bones, but we need help getting it to a place where people can come and be comfortable when they're not feeling well.
And actually, our friends at um Norms, uh they came and saw us yesterday, and they brought up a really good point about replacing the HVAC. They said there's some really good HVAC that takes out and purifies all the air and stuff.
So, one of the big things we're going to do is we're going to um with their help, they're going to donate some labor and whatnot.
