I am here at the Anders and Dorrit's dog park with my old man over here — don't know where he's going. Got my "Autism Is My Superpower" t-shirt on that my daughter got for me. And honestly, this dog park is right beside our house, which is super cool. Oh, I see a little dog — my big dog sees a little dog, she's running away.
It's a really great dog park, lots of good, friendly dogs here. It's off-leash. Come on, man, let's go for a walk. I'll show you — the really nice thing about this dog park is it's got all these little western red cedar and English oak signs and stuff. It's a really awesome dog park because it's really central, just off Jingle Pot. They've done a really great job with these trails — we've got these beautiful bridges you see behind me here, and there's lots of shade. So when you want to walk on a hot summer day like today, you'd want to take the big guy out and it might be a little too hot normally — this is really nice because you can just hang out in the shady areas. We've got lots of park benches here too, which is really nice.
Actually, this is something really cool — people leave a milk jug and a little water dish so dogs can have water. Just tons of little spots like that. The river's here — this is actually the river that goes around my house, sort of. We're in northern Jingle Pot here, right across the road from Cottonwood Stables, and we just love it — it's the best dog park ever. Not a lot of traffic. Actually, might just run down here, kind of sneak down — you coming? Come on, let's go this way, down to the river. It's all dried up in the summertime, of course, but more bridges, more shade — really great cover.
And then, if you want to — which a lot of people do — you just head out to the fields. Oh, here's another bigleaf maple sign. So you head out to the fields — see behind me here, it's this huge field right across from the farm. People can throw their balls, dogs can run around, it's just really open grass field. The trail is completely mowed all the way around the field, so it's really easy to walk. It's just awesome — you get these amazing mountain views. Actually, I guess you can't see the mountain today because the trees are behind it. But Mr. Milo and all the dogs, they love this place.
